Who am I

Hi, or 大家好! I am currently attending UC Berkeley studying Electrical Engineering & Computer Science.

Within the academic sphere, my Berkeley education has been characterized by a distinct ability to be hooked by any random class I hear about. The consequence is that I have taken a wide range of classes in EECS, such as Security, Algorithms, and Digital Logic Design, as well as cool topics outside of EECS as well, such as Japanese. Right now, my work experience centers around FPGA/ASIC design, but who knows where the wind blows me in the future?

Outside of the academic sphere, I may also be found playing frisbee or badminton (rarely), binging Youtube videos, or on top of a mountain. I also have a list of 20 or so languages I would like to learn in the future, so I may also be caught brushing up on my Turkish, or inventing a new language altogether.

Work Experience
KLA EECS Intern
June 2020 - May 2022
My first experience creating a large project in an industry setting.
I designed and developed a test fixture to detect subpar fiber optic links used for a camera and communicated across teams to bring test fixture to manufacturing and production. Verilog, TCL, and Vivado were used to accomplish this deed.
UC Berkeley Undergraduate Research
August 2020 - May 2022
I was in Jan's lab performing research in optimizing hyperdimensional computing sensor fusion acceleration implemented on ASIC TSMC 28nm technology.

KiwiBot Robot Deployment/Maintenance Intern
February 2019 - May 2019
Filled the stomachs of many UC Berkeley students through food-delivery-robot-deployment. Deployed 20+ robots in the morning per day to serve the UC Berkeley campus.

Exposed to start-up culture goals and deployed robots across the UC Berkeley campus.
Significant Projects
61B "Pacman" Maze
March 2018
Teamed with one teammate to design a complex maze based on randomly generating pathways and animations through the Java Princeton StdDraw library.
Incorporated player interaction with ghosts & a rapid "snitch" that flee from the player in varying speeds.
Makers
September 2016 - June 2017
Yearlong class indulging in a series of creative projects.
Teamed with 3 other students to construct a pinball machine for a local arcade, created a paper "dim-sum basket", and developed experience in woodworking & 3D-printing among other intriguing activities.
Significant Hobbies!
Foreign Language Learning
2014 - present
One of my longtime passions is learning foreign languages and discovering exotic cultures around the world.
I have been learning Japanese since 2014 through reading, listening, and watching a large quantity of Japanese articles & media. Recently, I have also taken Advanced Japanese at Berkeley.
I have also self-studied Spanish, Turkish, and (my favorite language) Polish over the past few years, and given the endless quantity of languages on the planet, this endeavour will see no end.
